Suspect wanted for Brighton bank robbery

Sussex Police are searching for a man suspected in connection to a bank robbery in Brighton yesterday afternoon who claimed to have a weapon.

 

The man was seen entering the TSB bank on Western Road, Brighton at around 1.40pm on Thursday 22nd November demanding money from the staff.

 

Detective Sergeant Chris Lane said: “We would like to hear from anyone who recognises the description of the suspect or has any information about this incident.”

 

CCTV images show images of the suspect, who ran off empty-handed towards Hove along Western Road with no sign of a weapon.

 

The man is described as white, aged in his mid-30s, green eyes, a black beard and was wearing a Russian-style type hat with fur sides, a bright orange t-shirt, dark coat and scarf.
