VisitVideo’s #SussexCoastSeries follows Charlie Shakespeare, Lizzie Burder and Sam Peterson on a road trip along the Sussex Coast.

During their trip, the trio explores different types of transport that can be found across sea-side towns and cities, whilst having a laugh and some fun along the way.

In this episode, they visit the “crème de la crème of seaside resorts” – Brighton!

They visit Volk’s Electric Railway, the oldest electric miniature railway in the world, built-in 1883.

They go to Brighton Zip, where you zipline above the beach and get amazing views of the town and the sea. The trio also provides useful advice on several of the activities, if you’re thinking of doing them yourself.

The Lanes are briefly explored before the group visit the historic Brighton Sealife Centre and get acquainted with the fishy residences.

Next, the trio explores Brighton Palace Pier. Charlie tastes the doughnuts which have to be “the best doughnuts anyone can have.”

The episode ends with Charlie and Lizzie enjoying the rollercoasters and bumper cars that the funfair is famous for.

Presenter and actor, Lizzie Burder said:

“I’d heard of the places and had even been to a lot of them before, but I never knew how much there was to see.”

But that’s not all!

In the upcoming episodes for #SussexCoastSeries, the trio will explore veganism and the LGBT culture of Brighton.
