Team Extreme is coming to Brighton to perform an adrenaline-packed show at the end of May (25th-27th) at the Marina, and for those who cannot wait, a short preview of what’s to come is scheduled for the 4th of May.
The riders at the Brighton show are a group of professional BMX stunt riders called the Team Extreme – Flatland Team, consisting of Mario Carelse, Steeve Green and Yinka Thomas.
The three riders will be doing four 15-minute performances throughout Brighton Marina and will do a mini display on the flat ground.
The trio, formed in 1988 and based in London, is well-established in the BMX scene, having taken part and even won competitions around Europe, as well as having previously been Expert Class winners in the UK Championship Series.
You can also spot the trio in several music videos and films, and they have appeared on many TV channels, including MTV and the BBC.

On their website they describe their discipline, BMX Flatland, as “The ultimate in bike control and by far the hardest discipline to master in BMX. It can be likened to break dancing, with the rider twisting and contorting the bike around their body while balancing, spinning or rolling.
“It’s more of an art form than other styles of BMX, with an emphasis on creativity, style and originality as riders link and mix tricks together.
“Flatland requires no equipment other than a level floor. This versatility means that it is the ideal show to fit a small area.”
Make sure you head down to the Marina this weekend and at the end of May if you don’t want to miss them!
