The Royal Pavilion, Brighton & Hove played host to a group of friends celebrating Chinese New Year yesterday.
Dressed in traditional Hanfu clothing, they chose the Royal Pavilion for its lavish and extravagant Chinese-inspired interior. Built as a seaside pleasure palace for King George IV, this historic house mixes Regency grandeur with the visual style of India and China.
The Hanfu Movement also known as the Hanfu Revival Movement is a cultural movement seeking to revitalize Han Chinese fashion that developed in China since the beginning of the 21st century.
