Tuesday 6th September: At The Concorde 2 from 7 pm the seven-piece band King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard is ready to show its Psychedelic garage-rock which combines neo-psych and lo-fi influences in its experimental performances.
Tuesday 6th September: Overhead Wires Music presents ‘The Dress Down’ with: Spec, a solo acoustic-electric artist; Rob Godfrey, a singer delivering dazzling folk, pop and jazz; Lewis McKale, an acoustic pop singer. They will be at The Brunswick from 8 pm.
Wednesday 7th September: The alt rock duo Lionlimb, of the songwriter Stewart Bronaugh and the drummer Joshua Jaeger, performs in support of its debut album ‘Shoo’. They will be in The Green Door Store from 7.30 pm.
Thursday 8th September: From 8 pm The Prince Albert will be the venue for the First Live outing for the local songsmith R.V.Monroe. Same night you can also be rocked by Calva Louise.
Thursday 8th September: The recently reformed alternative rock band Ride will play its Blues and Indie sounds at The Concorde 2 at 7 pm.
Friday 9th September: The singer-songwriter Eleanor Friedberger, famous for being one half of the indie rock duo The Fiery Furnaces, will be at The Hope at 8 pm. She will play warm and Dylanesque arrangements!
