If you’re interested in working in education and moulding the minds of tomorrow, come along to the Working in Education Fair 2018, that will take place on Saturday 10th March from 10am until 3pm. The event is organised by Brighton & Hove Education Partnership, and will be held at Jury’s Inn hotel on Brighton’s waterfront.
The fair will help those with ambition in the education sector to explore the job opportunities available in schools and colleges. It will have information about a range of courses available, from apprenticeships to voluntary positions, e.g. school governors.
Brighton & Hove Education Partnership aims to improve outcomes for children through the development of strong partnership working in the city. The council stresses that it is dedicated to rectifying inequality in the employment sector and aspires to gain a more diverse workforce that reflects the Brighton and Hove’s working population more accurately.
‘We want to ensure there is equality in our recruitment processes so we welcome all sections of the community to consider working for us. Our recruitment and selection is based on an objective application and interview process and you will only be judged on how your experience meets the actual requirements of the job.’ – Brighton and Hove City Council.
