Rarely off the road since the demise of Ian Dury in 2000, the Blockheads are still one of the most underrated British bands of all time, with a legion of fans of all ages. As well as through their own new material, interest in Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll, the recent biopic of their erstwhile front man Ian Dury, has seen a resurgence in the band’s popularity over the past couple of years and they continue to go from strength to strength. Along with some new material you can expect to hear all the classics including Hit Me With Your Rhythm Stick, Wake Up And Make Love With Me, Reasons To Be Cheerful (Part 3), and many more from the illustrious back catalogue.

Friday – Life Drawing: Mixed Pose @New England House
The Mixed Pose is a life drawing session of short, medium and long poses and with a tea and coffee break half way through. This session sons lunchtime and some people like to attend for just an hour; you are welcome to join us 12-1 or 1-2pm for £4 if you cannot stay for the whole session.All of our untutored sessions are friendly, relaxed and open to all abilities with support and guidance available from the session leader.Basic drawing materials are provided free; just bring your own paper or purchase paper from our in-studio shop.The Lunchtime Mixed Pose is £7, £6 for students.

English Ska band Bad Manners quickly became the novelty favorites of the UK pop scene, living up to their name with naughty antics from frontman Buster Bloodvessel.
In the 1980s Bad Manners spent an impressive 111 weeks in the UK charts and had many appearances on Top of The Pops, which they were later banned from after manic exploits from Buster. The bands more notable tracks include Special Brew, Lip Up Fatty and My Girl Lollipop.
