What’s on at Komedia this August?

Happy Pride everyone! We’re sure you’ll be having a blast at some amazing events this month and we’ve got another sizzling line-up of comedy, music, club nights, brunches and more this August. Check out our highlights below…

COMEDY

Our comedy programme kicks off with an exclusive work in progress show from Randy Feltface (5 Aug), we’ve got an evening of sketches and monologues from John Finnemore (17 Aug), Funnier than your Mum returns with two comedy led social experiences, a Sapphic Singles Comedy Night (12 Aug) and another open to everyone (13 Aug). Of course, we’ve also got our weekly night of top-circuit comedy every Friday and Saturday at Komedia Comedy Club too!

MUSIC & CLUB NIGHTS

Get grooving at our club nights and live music shows. Brighton’s BIGGEST Pride party for lesbians, dykes, queer women and trans folks Gal Pals is back (1 Aug), expect the best of reggae, roots, ska, rocksteady and lovers rock at The Brighton Moon Hop (8 Aug), alternative 80s club Spellbound returns with a synth special (15 Aug) and there’s live music from indie-pop singer/songwriter Chris Harper (22 Aug).

The Brighton Mod Weekender is also back for it’s 21st year over the August Bank Holiday weekend, packed with live music, club nights, and DJs (27 –30 Aug).
