Pottery and Pints at Alcampo Lounge – Friday 11th May

Alcampo Lounge on London Road is hosting Pottery and Pints, where attendees can learn from experienced ceramics tutors how to ‘throw’ their own pot on the wheel, as well as choose the glaze for their piece which can be collected in a few weeks time. All this is accompanied by your first drink free!

Oli Howe and Jazz Trio at The Lion and Lobster – Friday 11th May

Friday will see the Oli Howe Jazz trio, a firm fixture on the jazz scene,  take the stage at the Lion and Lobster – tradition meets modern beats, with super-tight arrangements and heaps of interplay. Certainly not to be missed.

Vegan Cheese Making Workshop – Saturday 12th May 

A weekend isn’t complete without good food, and what better way to spend a Saturday afternoon than making your own?! At Titbits Catering’s vegan cheese making workshop you will learn how to make several different types of dairy free goodies, from Macadamia Feta to Cashew Cheese. A must-do event for any vegan foodies in Brighton of which we’re sure there’s many!

St Ann’s Well Gardens Spring Festival – Saturday 12th May

The much loved annual Spring Festival returns to St Ann’s Well Gardens this Saturday. The family festival boasts plenty of activities for both adults and children, food and drink stalls as well as live music throughout the day. A perfect family day out – especially if the weather remains as glorious!

Brighton Swing Thing @ Spiegeltent – Saturday 13th May

Spiegeltent’s calendar is a busy one, and this Saturday they welcome Brighton Swing Community for an afternoon of swing music and dancing. Joined by live music, DJ’s, dance classes and a dance off, this one is not to be missed, regardless of ability – book soon as it’s bound to sell out!

Worth the Weight Kilo Sale is Back! – Sunday 13th May 

Vintage lovers rejoice! The ever popular Worth the Weight Kilo Sale returns to the open market this weekend. The concept is simple: rummage through the amazing selection of vintage clothes, bag your haul, get it weighed and pay your dues! Get yourself down there nice and early with an earlybird ticket to scoop the best picks.

Record Fair @ Komedia – Sunday 13th May

Sunday is for shopping! Once you’ve bagged your vintage finds at the Kilo Sale, head down to Komedia for their famous record sale. With records from 50p, there’s plenty to choose from – from reggae and pop to punk and rock.
