Friday 6th March
International Women’s Day Charity Gig at the British Airways i360
Head down to the i360 for an exclusive, one-off drum and bass and garage charity event with performances by 24hr Garage Girls, SHOSH and Kiss FM’s own Mollie Collin. Celebrate International Women’s Day in style by flying 450ft high above Brighton and dance the night away with drinks provided by the in-pod bar. What better way to support women in a highly male-dominated music industry? 10% of all ticket sales will go to the Brighton Women’s Centre charity.

Jayde Adams at The Old Market
Proclaimed as “Britain’s Funniest Woman comic” by The Daily Mail and as “a star” by The Guardian, Jayda Adams makes her return to Brighton with a comedy show at The Old Market. Keeping in line with the International Women’s Day theme this weekend, Adams will center the show, titled The Ballad of Kylie Jenner’s Old Face, on empowering women and the highs and lows of superstardom alongside much much more.

Saturday 7th March
The Maker’s Fair at St Augustine’s Arts and Events Centre
Start your Saturday by wandering around the Maker’s Fair at St Augustine’s which is set to feature 45 unique stalls from gifted individuals around the city. Featuring handmade gifts, homeware, jewellery and everything in between, uncover hidden gems and one-of-a-kind pieces whilst also supporting local artists. The café will be open to provide refreshments.

An Evening with Whitney – The Whitney Houston Hologram Tour at the Brighton Centre
For those who never got the chance to witness the late Whitney Houston live in action, now is your chance to do so! With theatre stagecraft, back-up singers and dancers plus a live band, it’ll seem like nothing is any different. Record Fair at Komedia
Browse Komedia’s extensive record collection today only! The fair is in support of Martlets charity with some of the proceeds going to them.
