Friday – Supercharged Club Night @ Concorde 2

After their sold out ‘Back To Breaks’ club night last summer, Supercharged will return to Concorde 2 tonight with another hot Breakbeat session featuring amazing hip hop, breakbeat and bass artists such as Stanton Warriors, Krafty Kuts, and Evil Nine.

Doors open at 11 pm tonight at Concorde 2 down at Madeira Drive. Tickets should be purchased online advance.

Friday – Ultimate Power @ Komedia

Tonight, Komedia Brighton will be hosting another Ultimate Power club night bringing you the greatest power ballads that have ever been written. Expect to hear household names such as Bon Jovi, Bonnie Tyler, Whitney Houston, Phil Collins, Bryan Adams and many more.

Starts at 11 pm tonight at Komedia Brighton. Tickets can be purchased in advance or on the door.

Friday – The Black Fields @ The Brunswick

Lawless Americana, classic rock’n’roll, and edgy country blues! Brighton-based rock band The Black Fields are finally back on stage with a live show at The Brunswick tonight. Support comes from Fleetwood Mac inspired Warsaw Radio and Rhythm and Blues artist Robert J Hunter.

Show starts at 8 pm tonight at The Brunswick Pub, Holland Road, Hove. Buy your tickets in advance or on the door.

Saturday – Desperate Journalist @ The Prince Albert

Desperate Journalist only just released their second album ‘GrowUp’ last month and are now looking to get it out to the people. Tomorrow night, the London post-punk band will be playing at The Prince Albert.

The gig starts at 8 pm. Tickets are available on the door or online.

Saturday – Doorly x Jacky @ The Arch

This Saturday, it’s gonna get hot at The Arch when American household name DJ Doorly and London-based DJ Jacky will get started behind the decks. Expect a hot summer party atmosphere as they are currently playing their sets in Ibiza! The guest slot will be taken by Trick Star Radio DJ Lee Garrett.

Saturday & Sunday – Kite Festival @ Stanmer Park

Get ready for many colourful shapes flying in the sky abover Stanmer Park this weekend when the 39th annual Kite Festival returns to Brighton. From miniature single line kites to some of the largest kites in the UK which require an entire team to get them up and staying in the air, this year’s event will host a range of world class flyer shows.

The event will take place on both days, Saturday and Sunday, from 11 am to 5 pm in Stanmer Park. Entry is free.

Saturday & Sunday – Brighton Yoga Festival @ Sussex County Cricket Ground

Running over two days for the first time this year, the Brighton Yoga Festival will bring together a huge number of renowned yoga and meditation teachers, giving you the chance to discover all things yoga! There will be free classes for people wanting to try out new techniques, as well as many stalls providing information about healthy nutrition.

Doors will open at the Sussex County Cricket Ground at 9.45 am on Saturday and Sunday. Entry is free.

Sunday – Jimmy Carr @ Brighton Dome

One of the UK’s most distinctive comedians, Jimmy Carr, is currently traveling the country with his The Best of, Ultimate, Gold, Greatest Hits tour. On Sunday, he will be at the Brighton Dome smahing out highlights from all his previous shows.

Doors open at 7 pm, show starts at 8 pm. Tickets are still available.

Sunday – Market @ The Level

The beginning of each month, the Level turns into a bustling market ground with stalls showcasing beautiful arts & crafts goods, jewellery, vintage wares, local and hot foods… To entertain small visitors for the market, there will be fairground rides, creative workshops, and face painting.

The market stalls will be open from 9 am to 5 pm on Sunday.
