The end of the year is approaching, and plans for celebrations post-Christmas are beginning to come together. Not quite sure what to do to welcome the New Year? Brighton Journal have compiled a list of all the top 5 entertainment, events, and parties around Sussex so that you can enjoy an evening of sparkle with your friends, family, or loved ones.

1. Proud Cabaret Brighton

Welcome the New Year in style at Proud Cabaret’s three course dinner, cabaret show and after party until 3am.  Follow the strictly black tie and cabaret dress code whilst enjoying “Brighton’s most spectacular cabaret show ever –  featuring the best of Burlesque, fabulous fire breathers and acrobats, and your favourite boylesque strip act Dave the Bear.”

2. Ice Queen Party @ All Bar One

Calling all cocktail lovers to All Bar One! Guests will receive an Absolut cocktail on the door as well as a sparkling glass of prosecco at midnight. Expect a live DJ, dancing, and late opening to party into the early hours of 2019!

3. Worthing’s Traditional Pantomime – Aladdin

Why not treat the little ones to a pantomime this NYE? Aladdin Pantomime is a hilarious show with live music, dancing, glitter, and exciting costumes for all the family to enjoy,  held at Worthing’s Pavilion Theatre. “Join STEPS star Lee Latchford-Evans and CBeebies favourite Rebecca Keatley on the journey of a lifetime as we soar through the skies on a magic carpet ride to adventure.”

4. Great Gatsby NYE Party @ Hilton Brighton Metropole

If you love to party but don’t wish to exclude your children this NYE, Hilton Brighton Metropole are hosting a glittering Gatsby party for guests age 10+. 

Head back to the glamorous 1920’s and enjoy drinks, live entertainment, music and dancing until 2am.

5. In Da Pub – 90s & 00s New Year’s Eve Party @ Sidewinder

Sidewinder in Kemptown is hosting the ultimate throwback themed party, with your favourite hits from the 90’s and 00’s playing all night long. Perfect for a more laid back NYE with friends, Sidewinder is offering free entry all night long.
