Worth Going

The Netball Super League is the top level of the sport in the UK, and both visiting teams are among its strongest. Manchester Thunder have been one of the league’s most successful clubs. Leeds Rhinos bring a well-known sporting name and a growing following. Elite netball is fast and physical, and it’s easy to follow even if you’ve never seen it live, which makes it a good day out for families, school and club teams, and first-timers.

Brighton Local

The two matches add live sport to a Brighton Centre calendar for 2027 that is filling up quickly. The venue has already announced Craig David’s Brighton Centre show for May and James Blunt’s April date. Netball is one of the most popular participation sports for women and girls in Sussex, and the city’s schools and clubs now have the chance to see elite players without travelling to London. Big sporting events also bring visitors into the city’s restaurants, bars and hotels out of season, which matters to a city working on its visitor economy.

Matches like these tend to be popular with groups, so it’s worth booking early when tickets go on sale on 12 October.
