YMCA Brighton and Brighton & Hove Soirée Rotary Club are delighted to announce a special Regency-themed Coffee Morning Fundraiser at historic Steine House on Friday 20 November 2026. 10.30am-12.30pm
The event will offer guests a rare opportunity to experience Steine House, the former residence of Maria Fitzherbert, whose story is closely connected to Brighton’s Regency heritage. The historic building is rarely open to the public, making this an especially exclusive occasion, with just 50 tickets available.
Guests can look forward to a morning of history, conversation and surprises, including an appearance by Pinsent Tailoring’s Regency gentleman, a special surprise guest and a fascinating talk by Father Patrick Fludder from Monks in the City.
Homemade cakes, refreshments and the opportunity to meet new people will complete the morning, while guests learn more about the work of both organisations in supporting the local community.
Tickets are priced at £12, keeping the event accessible while raising funds to support the organisations’ community work.
Marie Claire Macintosh from YMCA Brighton said: “We’re proud to partner with Brighton & Hove Soirée Rotary Club, whose community spirit and compassion reflect our own values. Funds raised will be split between our organisations, helping us empower local people, tackle homelessness and build brighter, more independent futures. We cannot wait to open the doors to Steine House and welcome guests!’.
Linda Hodgson from Brighton & Hove Soirée Rotary Club said: “We’re delighted to join forces with our corporate member, YMCA Brighton, for this special coffee morning. Through fundraising and hands-on support, club members help local charities tackle issues including food poverty, homelessness, isolation and family hardship. By working together like this, we can achieve more for our community.”
With only 50 tickets, guests are encouraged to book early to avoid disappointment.
