Brighton Museum & Art Gallery is inviting visitors to brighten up January with a 2-for-1 adult entry offer. From today (Tuesday 13) to Friday 30 January, adults can enjoy two tickets for the price of one, either in person or online using the code BEATTHEBLUES. The museum’s galleries are full of art, history, and stories from Brighton and around the world, offering a warm and colourful escape from the winter months.
The offer is a chance to step inside, discover something new, and enjoy a day out with a friend. From Archaeology to Fine Art, Fashion, and World Stories, there is something for everyone to explore, experience, and be inspired by while escaping the January grey.
The offer also coincides with the final weeks of the museum’s Performance Gallery, giving visitors a last opportunity to see its collection of masks, puppets and costumes before the space closes for redevelopment ahead of the new Brighton & Hove Albion Gallery opening in summer 2026.
Visitors taking advantage of the January offer can explore the museum’s wide-ranging collections, which include Archaeology and Ancient Egypt, Fine Art spanning historic masters to modern trailblazers, and Images of Brighton, which tells the story of the city through photography. Fashion and Style showcases clothing and textiles that reflect culture and identity, while Queer the Pier celebrates local LGBTQIA+ history.
The recently opened Central Gallery adds a contemporary focus with Passion, Power & Protest, alongside World Stories, which shares global traditions and perspectives through the voices of young people.
With January often seen as a challenging month, Brighton Museum and Art Gallery hopes the 2-for-1 offer will encourage people to enjoy a relaxed, inspiring and good-value day out in the heart of the city.
