Brighton Christmas Festival will be celebrating the most wonderful time of the year this winter from the 18th of November to the 24th of December.

Families and friends are invited to come down to St Peter’s Plaza and various other venues across Brighton for the merry season to  participate and enjoy the family festivities.

Even better , it is free entry for everyone and will include a traditional Christmas Market for family and friends to buy gifts for their loved ones, as well as dazzling shows and attractions.

Visitors can delve into delicious artisan street food while enjoying some atmospheric live music. As a city-wide event, there is something for everyone and a great selection of activities for all ages.

Children will have the opportunity to meet not one but two festive figures in Father Christmas and the Snow Queen’s Grotto. The little ones can spend time with their Christmas favourites, meet Santa’s delightful elves, take souvenir photos to treasure the magical moments and, of course, it wouldn’t be a grotto without Santa’s presents!

Last year, the Grotto sold out, so booking tickets in advance is advisable, starting from £12.50. Located at Paradox Place, it’s just a five-minute walk from the Christmas Market.

Adults will have the opportunity to relish a merry drink at the Après-Ski Bar, a ski-lodge-themed bar located in St Peter’s Plaza. They can enjoy a selection of winter warmers, festive beverages and live entertainment from local artists until late. It will be open Monday to Thursday from 12pm to 11pm and Friday to Sunday from 10am to 11pm.

From the Big Wheel to VR Sleigh Rides, you can expect fun for the entire family this season at the jolliest event in Brighton.
