Calling all Under-11s! Fancy yourself as a bit of an artist? Want to see your awesome artwork on the cover of 80,000 Brighton Fringe Family Guides? Then enter the Brighton Fringe front cover competition!!
The competition is now open to design the cover of the booklet, that will be available from March 2016. The winner will also get their hands on a VIP pass to all children’s events at award-winning venue The Warren during the Fringe Festival. Judged by a six-strong panel including The Argus; Brighton Fringe 2015 cover artist, Tim Cockburn; The Child Friendly Brighton team; Louise Arnell from The Pebble Trust, Brighton Fringe board member and founder of Liberty 842 Daisy Cresswell and team from Door 22 Creative. The five runners up will also be awarded two tickets each to a Brighton Fringe children’s show of their choice. In previous years the Brighton Fringe has had over 100 child and youth friendly events, showing that everyone can be part of the great, colourful show.
The Managing Director of Brighton Fringe, said “Brighton Fringe is all about giving opportunities to everyone to express themselves creatively and the cover of the Family Guide is a massive platform to showcase the talent of a young artist. We are looking forward to receiving your entries!”. The theme this year is ‘My Favourite Show’ and all you have to do is draw, paint or design your idea of ‘My Favourite Show’ on an A4 sized piece of paper, and then the original should be sent along with your name, age, school details plus a contact telephone number or email address. It should be sent to:

Looks great. I missed the fringe last year but looking forward to getting involved somehow this year. Brighton is the coolest place on earth and has such a massive creative community.. always something to see and do! Good luck with my favorite show its a great idea.
