Come one, come all, to take part in a beautiful carol service in St George’s Church in Kemptown this Thursday evening (20 December). Carols by Candlelight is a free event, open to anyone and everyone, regardless of age.
The event runs from 5.45pm – approximately 8.30pm this Thursday evening. Those attending can get together to enjoy a complimentary christmas drink and mice pie before the festivities commence at 6.30pm.
O Come, All Ye Kemptown
Although everyone is welcome to take part in singing of the carols, the service will feature the sublime voices of the NHS Community Choir Brighton and The Choir of St George’s Church.
The festive event is not only a local tradition, but a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together at Christmas time and share well wishes for the New Year.Â
Organisers have encouraged those attending to take part in remembering lost loved ones at Christmas time. During the Carol service, there will be an opportunity to hang a star on the Christmas Tree in memory of a loved one.
Although those attending are not obliged to donate, St. George’s Church would like to collect any donations for Friends of Brighton & Hove Hospitals.
