The key to creating the perfect pantomime is the performers and creative team. Choreographer Emma Woods has worked on huge shows including The King and I at the Palladium. The live band will be moved into the theatre boxes this year, either side of the stage, so the audience can see them play (and for a special stage effect!). The costumes are a huge part of the experience, Designer Shelley Claridge and her team have worked on the last 18 pantomimes. The number of hours that go into the creation of these is worthy of a standing ovation alone! Take a look at the video above to see behind the scenes at how they’re designed and made. |
