Author of what is undoubtedly the book of the year, Dolly Alderton, has announced that she will be stopping at The Open Market in Hove on the next leg of her popular ‘Everything I Know About Love Live’ tour.
A story of female friendship, Everything I Know About Love captured the hearts of pretty much every single woman in the country. It was nearly impossible to read it, and not find yourself in at least one of her hilarious anecdotes. Be it finding your first love via MSN, moving into your first proper flat with a mismatch of furniture, or being truly (and secretly) heartbroken when your best friend fell in love with a boy. Dolly Alderton seemingly captured a snapshot of an entire generation of women and wrote it down, for us all to laugh and cry about.
Following the enormous success of her debut book, which reached the Sunday Times Top 10 Bestseller status, Dolly has embarked on a live tour, the first leg of which is taking place now. Accompanied by her childhood friend, writer and director Lauren Bensted (who any reader of Everything I Know About Love will most likely consider as their friend too), Dolly will be dishing out her outrageous and heartwarming stories, to an audience whose coming of age stories are most likely much of a likeness.
To celebrate the launch of Everything I Know About Love being released in paper-back, complete with an extra chapter, Dolly has announced another leg of her tour, including a stop at The Open Market, in Hove, on 10th February. The new, unseen chapter will be entitled ‘Everything I Know At Thirty’, and will see Dolly explore the surprising aspects that come with entering a new decade.
‘Everything I Know About Love Live’ will be at The Old Market Hove on 10th February, tickets go on sale Friday 19th October. Visit website for full listings and tickets.
