‘What’s Out There?’ is a a free event which aims to bring people with learning disabilities and autism together. The day is hosted by Brighton & Hove City Council, along other charities such as Amaze and Speak Out, and hopes to showcase information on this topic through expert support, advice and a range of physical activities. Co-organisers Brighton and Hove City Council had this to say, “Come along to find out all the information you need to know about the opportunities available to you in our community. More than 40 organisations will be there to talk to, and you can also try your hand at badminton, dance and yoga.”

The Bhasvic-based activities begin at 10 am and throughout the day there will be a host of informative stands on topics as varied as accommodation and employment to health and support. Representatives from familiar companies such as Aspens, American Express and Albion in the Community will all be there to lend a hand. Lunch is provided and there is full wheelchair access.
