Sunsets is a one woman play set within a ‘live episode’ of a podcast. Fascinated by romantic comedies, Denver is trying to find her own walking off into the sunset moment. While recording it, of course. But will there be a happily ever after?Â
This comedy play explores our relationship to fantasy and how far this can impact our reality. Having premiered at the 2022 Edinburgh Fringe and then on to a run at Theatre503 in London, Writer and Performer Georgie Grier is bringing her ‘touching’ and ‘hilarious’ one hour show to Brighton Fringe.Â
Sunsets can be seen at the Brighton Fringe | 13th & 14th May 4.45pm 1 Hour (No Interval) The Rotunda Theatre: SQUEAK brightonfringe.org/sunsets
AUDIENCE REVIEWS:Â
‘A format I have never been done before.’Â
‘I was mesmerised from start to finish.’Â
‘Georgie shines as she delicately navigatesÂ
comedy, heartache and disco dancing.’
