Monday 30th September @ The Prince Albert.
Tonight the widely loved band ‘Sonny and The Sunsets” are playing at one of the best venues in the city. The laid back beach-pop band are joined by bands “holiday ghosts” and “B.Spanks”, making this evening quite the mix. With Rock n roll and lo-fi, this night is going to be quite the variety show. Doors open at 7:30 and its £10 On the door.

Tuesday 1st October @ Patterns.
The singer-songwriter ALMA from helsinki is playing at patterns this coming tuesday. Every so often a new pop star explodes out of nowhere, re-shaping people’s expectations and creating a new page in the rulebook in the process. ALMA – a 20-year old with bright neon green hair, a magnetic attitude and a voice that could demolish buildings –is that new pop star.Alma also recently helped Miley Cyrus write the track ‘Dont call me angel’- so you know she is going to be very talented and a joy to watch. Doors open at &pm and tickets are £12 in advance.

Wednesday 2nd October @ Komedia.
Comic Baby Boom is two exciting one hour stand-up shows. Each show is packed with a different selection of Jill Edward’s fresh local stand-up comedy newbies who are all ready to move on to the next level. Comic Boom MC Barry Ferns is your host for both shows.Local comedians like Charlie Bateman and Obe Arif are performing. Tickets are £8; which isn’t bad for two separate gigs.Doors open at 6:30pm for the first show and 8:30 for the second. if you want to sit in a group they recommend to arrive early as seats fill out very quickly.

Thursday 3rd October @ The Brunswick.
Fancy a gig that has a great line up but also for a good cause? look no further than the Brunswick this Thursday night with ‘Artists Unite for Amazon!’. Artists Unite for Amazon is a musical fundraising event where 4 very special and diverse acts are coming together to perform their own unique material. All money raised will be going to Cool Earth – a non-profit organisation working alongside communities living within the Amazon Rainforest. With bands that feature neo-soul, pirate rock, jazz and folk, he night will be far from monotonous. Tickets are £10 on the door and it starts at 7:30pm.

Friday 4th October @ The Hope and Ruin.
This Friday the Hope and Ruin have quite the gig lined up. the band ‘The Cosmic’s”, originally from birmingham, are gracing the venue with their fuzzy punk tunes. They are joined by ‘Winter Gardens”, who take influence from 80’s post-punk, along with “Acid tongue” who are back from their extensive US tour. Tickets are £5 in advance or £7 on the door, with the night starting at 8pm.

Saturday 5th October @ The Bee’s Mouth.
This night is packed with talented and energetic acts that will be sure to brighten up your night. The band ‘Yetti’, a 4 piece heavy-psych band are having their album release at this gem of a venue. They are joined by “Voidcaster”, a doom funk metal sludge stoner rock band from brighton. Due to the nature of the venue, its advised to be early to see both bands as space in the basement is limited. it free entry the whole night and there is a DJ till late- what more could you want?
