Started in 2008 as the bedroom project of Craig Dyer, The Underground Youth’s blend of dark psychedelic post-punk music has developed a worldwide loyal fan base that continues to grow. The live band currently consists of Craig Dyer (Vocals, Guitar) Olya Dyer (Drums) Max James (Bass) and Mark Vernon (Guitar). Combining walls of noise, raw energy and catchy melodies TUY create a captivating live experience that is not to be missed.

Wednesday – Ten Fé @ The Green Door Store
Ten Fé from London make “darkly romantic” electronic rock and roll which the NME calls “irresistible”. Their anthemic new single ‘Make Me Better’ marries a thick, deep groove with a massive string hook and droning shoegaze guitars. As ever, the intense harmony between the duo takes centre-stage, in a track heralded as the modern day incarnation of Britpop. Their psychedelic guitars and melancholic strings were described this month by Noisey as “wonderful”.

Sunday – Lena Laki @ The Brunswick
LENA LAKI is an indie folk singer-songwriter based in London. Her Debut EP “Take Me With” was released in 2016 and has received acclaim from media. Gigslutz made her the “Discovery of the Week” in April 2016, hailing Lena as “One of those ultimately talented musicians it is essential to appreciate“, while Love is Pop declared Lena’s material as “nothing short of gorgeous”. Her music can be described as dark and dreamy indie folk with a hint of jazz.
