Wednesday – Ten Fé @ The Green Door Store

Ten Fé from London make “darkly romantic” electronic rock and roll which the NME calls “irresistible”. Their anthemic new single ‘Make Me Better’ marries a thick, deep groove with a massive string hook and droning shoegaze guitars. As ever, the intense harmony between the duo takes centre-stage, in a track heralded as the modern day incarnation of Britpop. Their psychedelic guitars and melancholic strings were described this month by Noisey as “wonderful”.

Saturday – Memory Box feat. Derrick Carter and Robin Ball @ Patterns

Derrick Carter, to quote his RA biography, plays parties, makes music, dances, sings, and really, really likes shoes. He’s also a bit of a legend. Which is pretty handy as Memory Box is all about celebrating the roots and influences of electronic dance music and inviting a few legends along to the party to play.
