Two of Brighton’s biggest venues are hosting major live shows this year as part of a concert series that sends every penny of profit directly to local NHS services.
JOY. Concerts has announced the return of its NHS My Music series for 2026 with headline shows from Lulu, Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark and Starsailor — with more acts still to be confirmed.
Lulu at Brighton Dome — 15 October

Lulu performs at the Brighton Dome on 15 October in what promises to be one of the city’s standout autumn shows. A Eurovision winner, Bond theme singer with The Man With The Golden Gun, the voice behind To Sir With Love — the biggest selling record of 1967 in the US — and a UK number one with Take That’s Relight My Fire, her career spans six decades of British pop history. The Brighton Dome show will draw on that full catalogue in what JOY. describes as a celebration of one of the UK’s most beloved performers.
OMD at the Brighton Centre — 28 June
Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark bring their headline show to the Brighton Centre on 28 June. Electronic synthesiser pioneers since the late 1970s, OMD remain one of the most influential acts in British music — Enola Gay, Electricity, Souvenir, If You Leave — their catalogue holds up on a large stage in a way that few of their contemporaries can match. The Brighton Centre show will be one of the earlier dates in the 2026 NHS My Music calendar and is likely to sell quickly.
Starsailor at De La Warr Pavilion — 3 October
Starsailor celebrate the 25th anniversary of their debut album Love Is Here at De La Warr Pavilion in Bexhill on 3 October — a fitting venue for a show that promises orchestral arrangements alongside the original material.
Where the Money Goes
The model is straightforward and worth understanding. One hundred percent of profits from ticket sales and merchandise goes directly to My Charity University Hospitals Sussex, supporting the seven hospitals of University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust. That covers hospitals and health services across the local community — from feeding pumps for premature babies to advanced breast cancer technology and cardiac support equipment.
The series launched in 2025 with shows from Spiritualized, Lightning Seeds, Circa Waves and Skindred at Worthing Assembly Hall. The 2026 programme expands into Brighton’s two largest venues — a significant step up in scale and ambition.
Giles Witcomb, Head of Fundraising and Communications at My UHSussex, said the funds raised allow the charity to go beyond what the NHS can provide directly — supporting patients through every stage of life and fuelling the research and innovation that Sussex relies on.
Tickets are available now. If you are going to a gig this autumn, this is one where the choice of which show to attend carries a little more weight than usual.
