As seen amongst many fashion shows this year, blue seems to be the go-to colour of the catwalk season. With Summer fast approaching, a natural looking dewy glow is something we all strive for. The basic essentials to create this look are a touch of light foundation, a good highlighter on the cheekbones, bridge of the nose and chin and some cream blush for the apples of your cheek. This will endeavour to create a youthful and fresh ‘I woke up like this’ look.

When it comes to our make up bags, most of us will have our go-to statement red lipstick to add a touch of glamour to any outfit. Red lipstick is as classic as a little black dress and could be seen at many Ready-To- Wear 2016 shows this year, including that of Dolce & Gabbana as pictured above.

There are so many ways to work a braid, from a french to a fishtail, they will never go out of style. However, braids on the catwalk have been tousled and reworked to create a bed head look which means lesser work for us, result! So grab your tail comb and give those tresses the messy bohemian braided hairstyle of the season.

When it comes to nails we all seem to be getting more and more adventurous with our choice of colour palettes and quirky nail art designs. But how about getting it bang on colour trend this Summer by adopting a Rose Quartz or a Serenity shade. These 2 colours were named Pantone’s 2016 colours of the year and are perfect soft pastel tones for the coming Summer months.
