With the weekend done and dusted, we take a look at some of the things Sussex Police have been up to recently.
Police are appealingĀ to a man captured on CCTV who may have information about an assault in Brighton. Having been involved in the incident, in which nobody was seriously hurt, they hope the man can aid in their investigation. The assault happened outside Tesco Express on St. James Street at around 10pm on 6th June.

Sussex Police are also investigatingĀ the rape of a woman around the Devil’s Dyke area. The woman, 22, was on her way home from the Shepherd and Dog pub at 9:30pm and told Sussex Police she had been punched and raped by a man in a car park between 11:30pm and 12:30am. If you have any information which may be useful in order to detain the suspect, please contact the authorities here.
Police have also been active in local community: Brighton and Hove Police donated £400 to Hangleton and Knoll Community Action in order to secure the future of the group, while police in Littlehampton donated £300 to the charity Just Able Friends in order to help them plan events and meetings.
