In the next few months, the Pavilion and the city’s museums will host some fantastic events you won’t want to miss. From world-renowned painters to arts and craft days, we’ve compiled a selection of some of the highlights.
Constable and Brighton

Venue: Brighton Museum and Art Gallery
This new exhibition will celebrate the renowned artist John Constable’s stay in the seaside town. The gallery will display over 60 of the artist’s sketches, drawings, and paintings – all from his time in Brighton. An artist heavily influenced by natural beauty, Constable’s long walks around the town helped him produce around 150 pieces of art. The exhibition is unique in that it will trace his walking and painting sequences, illustrating the series of drawings he produced as he explored the Brighton landscape. The event runs from April until October.
