We’re somehow already half way through June – summer seems to be slipping away right before our eyes! But fear not, as usual Brighton has a fantastically action packed weekend ahead.

A Midsummer Night’s Dream @ Brighton Open Air Theatre – Friday 15th June

Enjoy one of Shakespeare’s most loved play as it should be enjoyed – in an open air theatre on a midsummer night. An amateur cast bring you a tale of mischievous fairies and runaway lovers.

GoGIRL 5k Run – Friday 15th June

Friday sees a unique, women only 5k run come to Hove Lawns – get involved or just spectate, this event is open to all, so long as your a woman! Everyone else, don’t worry, the run is followed by a beach party with live music and food which is open to all.

Brighton Dome Backstage Tour – Saturday 16th June

This is your chance to peek into the history of one Brighton’s most famous buildings – learn all about the artists who have performed her throughout the years as well as find out about the role the iconic building has played.

Brighton Beer Tour – Saturday 16th June

Amble around the city, tasting the best of it’s beer whilst learning more about the history of Brighton’s breweries.

Sunday Market at the Level – Sunday 17th June

Head down to the level this Sunday for July’s Sunday market – expect food stalls from around the world, vintage/handmade gifts and live entertainment. Also, in honour of 20 years of Refugee Week this months instalment of the market will feature The Starling Project, a charity who collaborates with displaced communities through arts.
