Brighton has plenty of events for you to fill your weekend with. Check out what’s in store for you and get planning the perfect weekend!
Friday 15th November
LUSH Clothes Swap
It’s time to re-vamp your wardrobes because LUSH is hosting their very own clothes swap on Friday! We’ve all got those items of clothing which we haven’t worn for ages and were hoping the opportunity would come to wear them again. But realistically, the chances are we won’t. So, why not join in with the clothes swap? This is the new way to change up your style, while being sustainable and not breaking the bank at the same time. What’s not to like? LUSH will also be giving any donations to ‘Labour Behind the Label’. So every penny will go to a good cause!

‘Don’t You Want Me’ Exhibition Launch Party @ Speaker’s Corner
This exhibition depicts members of the LGBTQ community and their rescue dogs; so it’s perfectly aligned with the dates of Trans Awareness Week and Trans Day of Remembrance. The photographs are so heart warming, showing just how important companionship is for our well-being. In an age where mental health problems are becoming more and more prevalent, the ‘Don’t You Want Me’ exhibition gives us a glimmer of hope. Despite the struggles of the people and the dogs portrayed, they show that happiness is just around the corner. As well as showing a connection between dog and owner, the exhibition also connects the LGBTQ community with art and animal lovers. So, come along for the launch where there will be food, drinks, music and more to celebrate!
