Sussex based Fire safety experts Allsaved, have launched its new local initiative titled the ‘Allsaved Guardians Awards’, which will see the company give away over £3,000 in cash prizes to workplace wonder women and men across Sussex throughout 2018.
With eight £400 cash prizes to be won this year, this month the Sussex-wide initiative are looking to celebrate more workplace heroes from all areas, including Brighton!
In offices, schools, factories and shops across the county, keeping a company safe and fully operational is no mean feat! Every office must have a fire safety plan, and appoint at least one employee as a voluntary fire marshal. For individuals who are ready to leap into action if disaster strikes, the importance and responsibility of this role is absolutely vital, yet their achievements can often be overlooked.
Allsaved’s campaign aims to highlight these individuals who go the extra mile in ensuring their colleagues safety, by celebrating everything that makes them guardians of the office.
Kate Mills from Allsaved told Brighton Journal, “The Allsaved Guardians Award is for heroes in your workplace. They can be the fire warden, the site manager or whoever ensures your workplace safety.”
The initiative will see each winner awarded with a £400 cash prize and receive a special Allsaved Guardians trophy, in recognition of the work they do.

Explaining the easy process Mills added, “You can select your nominated person and email us what makes them the company guardian angel. We then look through the nominations and declare a winner. The winner is then awarded a trophy and £400 cash prize!”
To nominate a friend or colleague, simply let Allsaved know what makes them the company’s guardian angel. Entries can be emailed to [email protected] or alternatively, you can write to Allsaved Guardians, c/o PMW Communications, Stane Court, Stane Street, Billingshurst, West Sussex RH14 9HP.
The closing date to receive nominations in by is Sunday 12th August 2018, with the winners to be notified in due course.
