Brighton’s dining scene is set to welcome an exciting new experience this autumn as 7 Paintings – The Art of Dining launches at DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton Metropole on 4 December, 2026.

Bringing together gastronomy, art and storytelling, 7 Paintings offers diners an immersive experience in which the table becomes a canvas and every course forms part of the story.

Hosted in the hotel’s private Osborne Room and available Thursday to Sunday, guests will enjoy an entertaining journey through food inspired by some of the world’s most celebrated artists.

Using sophisticated technology, music and theatrical storytelling, the sensory experience brings art to life directly on the dining table, with each chapter accompanied by its own culinary course.

The seven-course international menu is inspired by artists ranging from Michelangelo to Banksy and includes dishes such as Veal carpaccio wrapped in herbs and lime, with truffle mayonnaise, olive soil, Sakura cress and toasted olive bread, as well as desserts including Crema Catalana in a coated potato shell with mint and berries, served with salted caramel ice cream.

Guests are invited to become part of the experience, with interactive elements adding a playful and social dimension. The result is a carefully curated fusion of quality cuisine, creativity and entertainment that offers diners something genuinely unique.

The launch adds another dimension to Brighton and Sussex’s diverse dining landscape, offering an experience designed to appeal to food lovers, couples, groups of friends, colleagues and visitors looking for an evening that goes beyond dinner alone.

Set on Brighton’s famous seafront, the historic DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton Metropole provides a fitting backdrop. The landmark hotel combines its Victorian heritage with contemporary interiors, dining and event spaces.

Rekha Sohun, General Manager of DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton Metropole, said: “We are incredibly excited to welcome 7 Paintings to DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton Metropole. Brighton has always celebrated creativity, individuality and fantastic food, so this concept feels perfectly at home here.
