Koko Brown @ The Old Market, Friday 22nd February
This Friday, head down to The Old Market for Koko Brown‘s performance of WHITE, a show about identity, race and ‘outsiders’. Mixing vocal looping and spoken word, WHITE carefully explores the concept of mix-raced privilege and what it means to grow up in contemporary Britain.
With support from Lisa Lo, who brings a fresh perspective to R&B and Hip Hop, which is mixed alongside elements of Jazz and Soul.

Free Day: LGBTQ+ History Month @ Brighton Museums, Saturday 23rd February
Brighton Museums host a free day once a month, covering different themes with family fun, hands-on creative activities and bite-size talks. The month’s theme is a celebration of hidden LGBTQ histories through activities for all the family, including storytelling, artwork, make-and-do spoon cabaret, talks and a dance party. DJ Jumeau from Gal Pals, Brighton’s queer dance party for women & non-binary people, will be bringing the museum to life with fantastic music.

Brighton Vegan Market @ The Annunciation, Saturday 23rd February
After their hugely successful relaunch last month, Brighton Vegan Market is back at The Annunciation for February. There will be a wide variety of vegan stalls, including artisan candles, coffee, bread, cleaning kits, art, food, skin-care, micro greens, botanicals and international bakers. Vegan Talks will also be taking place throughout the day.

Worth The Weight Vintage Kilo Sale @ Hilton Brighton Metropole, Saturday 23rd February
Worth The Weight is coming to Brighton for their massive vintage kilo sale. Simply grab a bag on your way in, and make your choice of clothes, all at only £15 a kilo. They will be bringing seven tonnes of items for you to rummage through, with a variety of men’s and women’s garments from the 60’s – 90’s. Heavy items are capped at £15, the stock will be replenished throughout the day and there are changing rooms on site.

International Women’s Day Extravaganza @ Sallis Benney Theatre, Saturday 23rd February
Brighton Women’s Centre invites us all to come together for an evening of comedy, connection and celebration. The evening includes comedy sets from, Ginnia Cheng, Sami Stone, Katherine Atkinson and Bryony No, With Sophie Brown and Miss Disney joining as special guests. The evening will be hosted by Charmaine Davies, and all proceeds from the tickets will go towards Brighton Women’s Centre.
Amuse Manouche play Gypsy Swing @ The Royal Sovereign, Sunday 24th February
Amuse Manouche, Brighton’s well-loved gypsy based swing band, are returning to The Royal Sovereign by popular demand. Inspired by jazz kings and queens, such as Django Reinhardt and Ella Fitzgerald, Amuse Manouche will mix fast guitar riffs, racing rhythm and soaring vocals to make create an explosive gig that is sure to get the audience moving.
