A trio of Sussex men recently committed a prolific string of crimes in the local area. Such was the extent and severity of the crimes that police were offering a £2000 total reward for the 3 criminals, who are now in police custody.

Brighton teen Connor Mackay, and Grant Searle and Taylor Clarke of St Leonards-on-Sea were the guilty men, working together to wreak havoc.

Mackay, 18, is the youngest of the trio. He has been convicted of burglary, theft, and dwelling with intent to steal.

26-year-old Searle received a more serious and lengthy set of charges. He received these for aggravated vehicle taking and damage, dangerous driving, taking and driving a vehicle, possessing stolen goods and counts of driving while disqualified and without insurance.

20-year-old Clarke’s charges were not so drastic or extensive. He was charged with attempted burglary, dwelling with intent to steal and remaining unlawfully at large despite being recalled to prison.

The 3 terrorised the local community and seemed intent on continuing until their rampage was brought to a timely end. Their extensive spree of crimes has caused much damage and struck fear in locals. There will, without doubt, be a great relief that the trouble caused by the trio has at last come to a stop.
