Let’s admit that we sometimes tend to forget really important things, like buying tickets for a festival we really want to go to. And then there is this one moment of disappointment when we say to ourselves ‘Oh dear, it’s probably too late by now to get tickets’. If you had that experience with this year’s Brighton Festival, we got good news for you. There still is quite a number of shows you can still buy tickets for. Here are a few shows that might interest you.

Ocean Wisdom, The Four Owls & Jam Baxter
If you are into hip hop, then this lineup will probably freak you out. Get lost in the beats and intelligent wordplays of Camden born rapper Ocean Wisdom followed by the straight up-and-down rhythms and undiluted lyricism of The Four Owls and solo hip hop lyricist Jam Baxter.
7:30 pm, Friday 12 May, Brighton Dome Concert Hall.

Sausages, Spaghetti and Sharks in Parks
I know it might sound a bit like a comedy show, but it’s not. Although you will probably get a laugh here as well, this show will bring you straight into the world of Nick Sharatt’s picture books. The illustrator will give tips on how to improve your drawing skills and tell about how he creates the characters of his books. So don’t forget your drawing materials to start practicing straight away.
5:30 pm, Monday April 15, Sallis Benney Theatre.
Tickets available here.

Songs for the End of the World
Theatre production or rock gig? Dom Coyote and his band The Bloodmoneys combine them in one single apocalyptic show.
