In line with International Women’s Day, Manu Atelier have today released a leather bracelet in collaboration with One Million Sisters, a charity organisation that focuses on economic empowerment, maternal health and education to women around the world.

Sold exclusively on Stylebop, all the bracelets are embossed with the words ‘One Million Sisters’ and were handmade in Manu Atelier’s studio in Istanbul. Designed by Laetitia Belmadani, one of the founders of One Million Sisters, the bracelets are made from ethically sourced materials. The charity One Million Sisters partners with other initiatives to create an umbrella charity, such as Pro Mujer, Every Mother Counts and Care International. Supermodel Christy Turlington Burns has said today “I learned about maternal health through my work as an ambassador for Care, and quickly realised how totally unacceptable it was to leave it that way”. Christy is not the only high-profile name to pledge their support to the cause, as models Caroline de Maigret and Elise Sednaoui are also spreading awareness by wearing the bracelet. There are two versions of the bracelet, both are nude-coloured but one has a metallic gold detail and the other silver. Fashionable bracelets that also help women? Count us in.
