The North Laine is well-known for being one of the coolest places to shop and browse through vintage shops in order to find unique pieces of clothing; we went for a walk in a beautiful sunny morning to discover some of the best outfits that Brightonians were wearing.
Louise likes to call herself “a bit of a thrifter”, and enjoys looking for bargains and unique items in thrift shops: her bag and her hat are thrifted, while the jumper is from Zara and the trousers were a present from a friend of her. The shoes, faux leather boots, are from Asos and the stylish outfit is finished off with a coat from H&M last season collection.
Anna was rocking an -almost- total black outfit made by a mixture of online purchases and high street shops items. A black Boohoo dress enriched by a statement necklace, high street shop shoes and bag; everything was coloured by a sprinkle of gold and brown with the River Island jacket and an Ebay coat.
Ellen was looking fabulous in her leopard print coat from Snooper’s Paradise, one of the largest vintage-retro shops in the Lanes; her dungaree is from Dirty Harry, another famous shop located in the Lanes, and underneath she styled a dress from Tk Maxx as a shirt. Ellen loves the Lanes shops, and enjoys looking for vintage and retro inspired pieces of clothing to style her outfits.
Alex and Joey were enjoying the sunny day with a cup of coffee in one hand and their skateboards in the other; they both rocked a vintage skater style made with a mixture of items from Dirty Harry and To Be Worn Again, another of the well-known vintage shops located in the Lanes. They finished everything off with Vans and Converse shoes, to feel comfortable while skating.
