Last years Wildlife festival was the surprise hit of the summer, so it’s no surprise that the festival is back again for round 2. Organised by dance acts Rudimental and Disclosure, there will be 2 days of non-stop music next weekend.  Taking place at Shoreham Airport, this seaside event won ‘Best New Festival’ at the 2015 Festival Awards and has continued to grow its reputation with the addition of new stages for a bigger and better 2016. With a mix of DJ’s and musicians, there is a real variety at Wildlife ensuring something for everyone. Across the two days there are 5 stages and close to 100 acts to choose from, so we’ve picked out some of the most exciting sets for you to bookmark.

Jack Garrett: Jack Garret is one of the most exciting people in music at the moment. Having released his début album in February 2016 to critical acclaim, Garratt has gone on to win the critics choice award at this years BRIT awards and play a selection of festival dates, including Wildlife. His music is a mix of indie and pop and will be sure to put you in the ultimate festival mood. Jack Garratt is a future festival headliner, so any chance to see him before he makes it big should be snapped up. Be sure to see what the fuss is about when he plays the main stage at Wildlife on Sunday.

Ratboy: Jordan Cardy, or Ratboy, will take to the stage at Wildlife in the Big Top tent. Ratboy has been described as a mixture of Kasabian and the Streets, and was also nominated for the BBC sound of 2015 awards. Cardy will be a nice change for anyone looking to mix it up between DJ acts, and will stand out as being one of the most energetic acts of the weekend. His music is fast and loud, and he will be sure to have the tent dancing to his stand out tune Sign On. Ratboy is one of the most exciting young acts in Britain, he is rising fast and is set to appear at a number of festivals over the summer, so be sure to check him out.

DJ EZ: Headlining the WHP Presents stage on the Saturday night is festival veteran DJ EZ. Specializing in garage music DJ EZ will take you back to the mid 2000s with his throwback mixes that will end the night with a nostalgic dance. The tent will be busy for this one as EZ is a favourite of Brighton clubbers, so be sure to get in there early to get down the front. DJ EZ will close the night in style, so if you want to party into the early hours with thousands of others then the WHP Presents stage will be the place to be.

Disclosure will headline Wildlife on the Saturday night – image by The Bull Pen

Disclosure: As one of the festival organisers it is only right that brother duo Disclosure headline on Saturday night. Despite being a two piece, Disclosure’s live show is known to be energetic and full of hits. Headlining a festival is nothing new to Disclosure having headlined previously, and it would not be a surprise if they bring out musical friends such as Sam Smith or Lorde to help them see their set through. With anthems like White Noise it is and Omen, Disclosure are set to be one of the biggest and best sets of the weekend. To avoid missing any surprise collaborations, be sure not to miss these

Bastille: Bastille will be one of the more intriguing sets of the weekend. Recently teasing new music, the rock band might be inclined to perform a new song or two when they play the mainstage of Wildlife on Sunday. As well as crowd favourites Pompeii and Oblivion, Bastille will be gearing up for a host of shows over the summer. Playing in the late afternoon, Bastille will be a crowd pleasure with their indie anthems and after a slight drought in live performances, this will be Bastille’s first of what will be many shows with new music, so don’t miss this highly anticipated comeback.

Wildlife Festival takes place next weekend on June the 11th and 12th at Shoreham Airport, and tickets are still available now!
