Wine lovers will soon have a new reason to raise a glass as Vagabond Wines comes to Brighton’s Lanes this November, bringing more than 100 wines by the glass, its signature self-pour wine machines and modern European small plates to 3-4 Duke Street.

To celebrate, Vagabond is offering a limited number of places at its soft opening previews. Sign up HERE to receive the live bookings link for 50% off food from Wednesday 28th October to Sunday 1st November, ahead of the official opening on Monday.

At the heart of Vagabond is a simple idea: wine without the rules. Rather than committing to a bottle, guests can explore more than 100 wines by the glass, pouring a taster, half or full glass from the bar’s self-pour machines. Whether you know your Bacchus from your Barolo or simply fancy trying something new, it’s all designed to make discovering wine more social, accessible and fun.

Adding a distinctly local flavour, the Brighton line-up will include English wines made by Vagabond at its own Urban Winery in London, using grapes grown in vineyards across Sussex and the South East. The wines are lovingly crafted by winemaker Jose Quintana, who grew up on a farm in Sussex, bringing grapes grown close back to Brighton by the glass.

Alongside a myriad of wines will be a menu of modern European small plates and sharing dishes, including burrata di Puglia, pil pil prawns, padrón peppers, Ibérico croquetas and hanger steak tagliata.

Set across two floors, the new bar will have space for 79 guests inside, with a further 18 outdoor seats. Located in the heart of The Lanes, Vagabond Brighton is the perfect venue for everything from after-work drinks to long lunches, dates and weekend catch-ups.

Marking Vagabond’s first new opening outside London in five years, Vagabond Brighton officially opens on Monday 2nd November.
