Following on from their Broadway hit, Sir Ian McKellen (Gandalf, Magneto, Estragon), will be joined on the stage by Sir Patrick Stewart (Picard, Prof. Xavier, Vladimir), to star in Nobel Prize laureate Harold Pinter’s masterpiece play – No Man’s Land – which will be appearing at the Theatre Royal in Brighton on Mon 22 – Sat 27 August.

The memorable play is famous for its amusingly inebriated writers that are slowly revealed to be entwined in a power struggle the more booze they drink, their stories becoming beyond belief, and the return home of two menacing men turns the play further.

It was one of Sir Patrick Stewart’s dreams to star in Pinter’s play – the acting legend even went twice in one week – he said he: “would have seen it more if I could have afforded the tickets. I made a promise to myself that one day I would play Spooner or Hirst, but to be doing it back at Wyndham’s with Ian McKellen was a fantasy I never entertained.”

The play has received glowing reviews by the big hitters like Time Out and The New York Times.

Tickets went on sale today (16th March), and can be found here: http://www.atgtickets.com/shows/no-mans-land/theatre-royal-brighton
