Sussex Police yesterday (20 August) released this CCTV image of a man they would like to talk to in connection with a burglary that happened in Hove at the beginning of August.
In identifying the man (pictured above), Sussex Police are now appealing for the publics help.
The incident occurred at a flat in Glendor Road, Hove, sometime between 5pm and 7pm on Wednesday 8 August. The intruder got into the flat and stole a laptop, a wallet containing two bank cards, and £20 worth of jewellery from a bedroom. The bank card was then used that evening in a convenience store in Boundary Road, Portslade.
In the hope someone may recognise the suspect, along with releasing the above CCTV image, Sussex Police have given the following description of the man they wish to speak to:
They have described the suspect as, “6 foot, thin, of Asian appearance with a large nose, short receding black hair and long sideburns.”
Police also added further information about the suspect, stating, “He is believed to have a pronounced stoop to his posture.”
In releasing this CCTV footage and description, the force are now seeking assistance from the public in identifying the offender and are appealing for witnesses or anyone with any information regarding this incident to come forward.
Sussex Police stated: “If anyone recognises the man or has any information about the burglary contact police online or ring 101 quoting 09 of 09/08.”
