We are now pretty much halfway into October which means we need to start thinking about the scariest day of the year. Halloween is always a fun one, and there are so many things you can do in Brighton to celebrate. From a classy dinner to a ghost walk, to a Halloween themed fairy market to a night club that is showing scary movies in the background, Halloween in Brighton has something for everyone.
Ghost Walk of the Lanes: To really scare yourself, don’t just watch a scary movie, why don’t you live it? Go for a seventy minute walk around the Brighton Lanes, the most haunted place in Brighton.

Halloween edition of the Open Market: Take your kids to the Open Market for some Halloween themed fun!! Take part in a spooky treasure hunt, get their faces painted and keep them entertained with a free craft table. The Open Market sells everything from Vintage Jewellery to baby clothes and is putting on events such as live dancers throughout the day. Copperdollar at The Old Market: For three days at the end of October Copperdollar are returning after a sell-out party last year and a stint at this year’s Glastonbury Festival, for a fun filled party with art, performances and live music to celebrate Halloween and the Day of the Dead. Vanishing Point at Patterns: For a great night of underground House DJ sets and Halloween Costumes, go to Patterns. Shaun off his Head: Worth going for the unique name alone, listen to live music, enjoy Halloween themed drink offers and even watch some of the great horror comedies of all time in the background. Come dressed in costume and there might even be some wooden stocks for some great photo opportunities. Though they don’t say on their website that they aren’t real…maybe avoid those.
